A skincare launch creates attention.
What happens next determines whether that attention becomes a business.
Vietnamese consumers spent nearly VND74.4 trillion on beauty and personal-care products through major e-commerce platforms in 2025. Yet stronger demand also brings heavier competition, making product credibility, transparency and customer trust increasingly important.
For new skincare brands, the first 90 days should be treated as a learning period—not simply a sales campaign.
Days 1–30: Listen Before Expanding
The first month reveals how customers experience the actual product.
Monitor comments, reviews, enquiries and return reasons. Look for repeated feedback about texture, fragrance, packaging, absorption and ease of use.
Founders should also observe which product benefit customers mention most often. The message that attracts attention may not be the same reason people decide to purchase.
Avoid rushing to launch another product. First, understand what the market is telling you.
Days 31–60: Strengthen Trust
Vietnamese beauty shoppers are paying closer attention to ingredients, manufacturing origin, brand credibility and product transparency. Concerns about unclear origins and counterfeit products can discourage purchases even before price becomes an issue.
Use the second month to improve product pages, educational content and customer communication.
Explain what the product does, who it is designed for, how it should be used and where it is manufactured. Avoid exaggerated claims. Clear information builds stronger confidence than aggressive promotion.
Days 61–90: Prepare for the Second Order
The second production order should be guided by evidence.
Review sales velocity, remaining stock, repeat purchases and promotional activity before confirming quantities. If customers repeatedly mention a packaging issue or prefer a particular product benefit, discuss possible improvements with the manufacturer before reordering.
This is also the time to decide whether the brand should scale its hero product, introduce another format or continue gathering data.
Harmony Skin Lab supports skincare businesses through customised formulation, low-MOQ production, quality control, scale-up manufacturing, packaging, filling, printing and labelling. This allows growing brands to refine their positioning and increase production without rebuilding the development process with a different partner.
A successful launch is not measured only by how quickly the first batch sells.
It is measured by what the brand learns before producing the next one.
The first order tests the idea. The second order begins the business.
